Digital Scavenger Hunt


Test your skills at this year’s “All is Bright” Digital Scavenger Hunt, hosted by Alberta Beacons and Geofencing Inc.:


  • To participate, you’ll need to download their FREE app and then follow the instructions.
  • The answers to the questions will all be various businesses located along 124 Street, between 102 Avenue and 108 Avenue.
  • Those guests who get all of the answers and locations correct, will be entered into our grand prize draw. You’ll have a chance to win one of two fabulous prizes. Winners will be selected at the end of the festival and contacted. Trust us, you’ll not want to miss out!

Outdoor Activities


4 p.m. Join the All is Bright Ambassadors and the Flying Canoe Volant Voyageurs as they lead Santa in a Light Up Procession. Starting from Helen Nolan Park (108 Avenue and 124 Street), walking to the Main Festival grounds on 102 Avenue and 124 Street. The procession arrives just in time for the official Light Up The Night Ceremony!


5 p.m. Join Festival Host, Josh Classen, as he leads the Light Up The Night Ceremony. There will be very special guests, including: Mayor Don Iveson, Honourable Minister Sarah Hoffman, Honourable Randy Boissonnault, and Councillor Scott McKeen!


5:30 p.m. Following the ceremony, there will be installations by:


Outdoor activities include:


  • Outdoor photobooth and snapshots with Santa by Flashworks Photobooth
  • Gather around to make s’mores or huddle in close around the fire pits (All is Bright Kid's Zone)
  • Get adventurous with Segway obstacle courses from River Valley Adventure Company
  • Take a spin with Western Cycle’s Norco BIGFOOT FAT BIKES
  • Try your aim at Jack Axe’s axe throwing or try your hand at the buck saw
  • Ice sculptures and installations from the Sculptors’ Association of Alberta
  • Local businesses competing to win your hearts with the best "Storefront Light-Up Display Contest." Flirt Lashes (image above) created the gorgeous winning entry from last year!
  • All is Bright glow wands, glow necklaces, and festival candles (at the Info Tent for $2 each)

Onsite Pop-Ups

UPDATE: Shuttle service has been cancelled. Please note that the ETS shuttle bus service between the parking lot at the former Alberta Museum and the main festival grounds has been cancelled.

  • 4 – 8 p.m.: one team offering rides in a shorter loop for guests.
  • 5:45 – 8 p.m.: two teams running along 124 Street between 102 Avenue and at 108 Avenue.
