Illuminate the winter season at the All is Bright Festival


On Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 4PM to 9PM the businesses of 124 Street and High Street invite you to our annual light up festival, a unique event that celebrates the coming of the winter season in Edmonton and lighting up the night through illumination, fun, and live entertainment to patrons of all ages. 


Join us for the main attraction! The Light Up The Night Ceremony takes place at 6PM. Join us as we countdown to the official turning on and unveiling of the holiday lights in the area!






Getting Here

The event will be centered on 124 Street between Jasper Avenue and 102 Avenue, but will also stretch throughout the High Street and 124 Street district.

Artists Needed - Light Up Installation Project

Calling all Edmonton based artists, creators and designers! We are doing a call out for 5 - 7 "light" installations along 124 Street between 102 Avenue - 108 Avenue. Artists will work to finish their installations so that they are ready to be lit up for the 'Light Up Ceremony' at 6pm on November 19. This event will offer artists an opportunity to showcase their work to patrons of all ages and enthusiasts who appreciate unique pop-up features that make our community brighter! All details about the project and call out are included in the link below.


Storefront Light Up the Night Display Contest & Prize

To Light Up the Night as much as possible, we are having a contest for all of the business owners on the street! 

  • Businesses can participate in the storefront light up display contest by sending an email to to confirm participation in the contest and to receive further details.
  • Following the 'Light Up the Night Ceremony' at 6pm on Main Stage, judges will review the entries in person before returning to the Main Stage to announce the winner.
  • As incentive, the winning business will be awarded with the following:
    • the inaugural "Winner - All is Bright Storefront Light Up Display Contest" plaque.
    • two 'staycation' packages complete with accommodation in a Deluxe Suite, dinner, entertainment, champagne, and a luxury transportation package!
