Peter Robertson Gallery

"The point is..." by Alice Teichert.

"Integrating my interest in-line of lines forming a language of topo- and typo- graphy, of glyphs and graphs, these new paintings put into view more ties and interstices between text images and a thought process.

Image is text and text is image, and the language is one of perception and interpretation within the space of the experience itself."

Gallery Walk History

The Gallery Walk, the first of its kind in Canada, was formed in 1986 to promote art and artists of merit within our community, focusing especially on work by Canadian artists.

The Gallery Walk Area is located just west of the downtown core in the 124 Street area, a vital business community with many quality restaurants, gift and clothing shops, bookstores, and many more specialty businesses in its 12 block area.

Although Gallery Walk occurs two times per year, we encourage group walks throughout the year, and will be happy to assist in the planning of any gallery walk for schools, conventions, or groups in general. Please contact any of the member galleries about their specific artists, or if you are planning a visit to find out specific information about upcoming "Walks".
