Annual General Meetings (AGM): The Annual General Meeting of the BRZ members takes place once a year to address the legal and procedural requirements of the Business Association. The AGM is required by the City of Edmonton policy as a way to ensure the BRZ membership has an opportunity to democratically influence the operation of their BRZ through the annual election of Board Members, to ensure the membership is aware of major changes to the budget, proposed expenditures, and has an opportunity to provide feedback to the Board on various proposals.
 

CIGARETTE BUTTS ....A ....NO NO!

The City of Edmonton has placed ashtrays to keep the street litter free of cigarette butts.  We ask you to please use them to dispose of your cigarettes and help us keep our business district clean.   Your co-operation is appreciated. 

WOW! ALL THE BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS!!

The flower barrels look beautiful.  This year we asked for two colours and will take a vote if they were a "crowd pleaser".

We'd like you to take a note of the additional flower arrangements in front of "TU Gallery".  Alex Paterson (at his own expense) had Hole's consult about additional flowers in front of the gallery.  This could be an added feature offered to our members.

Craig of "Mousy Brown's" thought someone had taken his planters.  Lo and behold they were wheeled down the street full of flowers by "FLUR".  Talk about a good neighbour.  Hats off to FLUR!  By the way they have had numerous referals thanks to their good will.

We maintain that "small town good will feeling".
